Many people confuse and use the terminologies of the IT company in Sydney and the software house interchangeably. However, this is not the same. In order to understand the relation between the IT company and the software house, you can say that all the software houses are the IT companies but all the IT companies do not necessarily come under the category of the software house.
IT companies:
IT companies are the ones who are responsible for technological support of all the platforms currently existing in the market. Apart from this, it is the part of the role of the IT companies to constantly perform research on all the latest advancements in the IT industry either it is related to the software or the hardware. Based on these researches, they either integrate the newly introduced technologies in the services that they provide and then they distribute these among the clients. In case of the IT companies there are majorly two main clients of the IT company. One is the customer to which usually some software or hardware is given based on the requirements. In case of the customers there are only limited demands because one software is able to fulfil the requirements of many customers with the slight customizations. The second client is the business, as of today there is no business which does not use technical tools and services in order to perform their routine tasks and transactions. Therefore, when these businesses used the IT services then they require the IT support as well. Most of the IT companies provide the good managed IT support to such businesses which help in the smooth operations of their IT services.
Software Houses:
In software industries, there are mostly engineers who are related with actually implementing the software. This software is responsible for the computations of these computers and since they need to develop most of these software from scratch therefore, they need to know about the designing aspects as well as implementation of these developments. Although in the broader sense the software companies are a sub part of the IT company which is a broader concept and which includes not only the software companies but the hardware ones as well. Although it is not always necessary that the software houses hire researchers or IT support personal and therefore, these not always are referred as the IT company. Due to this distinction there is even a difference of the role between an IT operator or an IT expert and a software engineer. Even in the role of the software engineer and the IT experts there are further categories of the roles.
